Breyer Premier Club Special Run "Emerson"
These beautiful models are part of the 24 piece herd, set aside for beloved sculpting artist, Sue Sifton; in conjunction with the release of the Breyer Premier release to the public. Part of an exclusive group, offered solely through Sue directly; these horses are for sale, in consecutive order based on quality.
I (...Barrie Getz...) have personally spent eight hours hand viewing, inspecting and putting these horses in order, based on show-qualifications. As an original finish Breyer collectability judge (Breyerfest, Nationals...) for several years, I kept keen watch out for overspray, fish-scaled dapples and other flaws typical of factory production horses in the public release. Many of them have lovely deep shading, exceptional highlights, and a variation of dapples from mild to extreme.
No horses are “flawless”. They are factory production pieces, produced in China. If you’re looking for top LSQ without flaws; you may well be in the wrong place. They have been numbered in order of quality.... best markings, best dapples, least amount of overspray. The lower the number (1...2...3...4...etc), the better the horse; as would also be true for a Bronze casting, or other artist release. I meticulously went through and examined each piece for all of the general flaws one would find on factory horses. There may be ear-tip rubs, hoof edging, tail edging... all things easily repairable by a great restorer. Every horse is unique and different, as all of them were hand painted by Breyer.
They are ALL present with boxes, bags and COA’s. Thanks to Breyer, for being generous enough to send these items with each of the Artist Copies. Much appreciated!
Also throwing in a HUGE shout out to Emerson's paintwork designer Tammi Palmarchuk; for her awesome job in bringing Sue's sculpture to life, with this fantastic and intricate pattern; over a gorgeous sea of flame-pointed liver chestnut! Incredibly well done, Tammi!
Here’s how they are being offered:
Artist's Copy #1-14 -- $275 ((price includes shipping within continental USA))
-- Each horse in the 1-14 bracket, is signed and numbered (by Sue), with the coordinating signed/numbered certificate of authenticity. These have been handpicked in order of number, for quality of markings, coloration, and overall presentation. Sue has signed and numbered them, in order of go. As stated above, nothing is “flawless”, but I’ve done my best to make sure the top horses were put there for a reason. See photos for individual horse details.
Artist's Copy #15-24 -- $225 ((price includes shipping within continental USA))
-- Sue’s signature only w/COA, no number. These horses are more suited for photo showing, or shelf enjoyment, than live competition. Some have vast areas of overspray, or other flaws from the factory. See photos for individual horse details.
***ALL HORSES are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, to keep it fair for everyone.***
PLEASE NOTE: If you put one in your cart, it does NOT automatically become yours! He needs to be paid for, before he will be marked "out of stock". So if you want one, pay for him quickly!
